General Purpose Regulators are used in compressed air systems to reduce system pressure to a level which can be used to operate air tools and other air operated equipment. They are also used to maintain the reduced pressure at a constant level despite changes in the inlet pressure and changes in downstream flow requirements. Standard regulators are relieving regulators with a pressure gauge and FNPT threads. Options include T-handle adjustment, non-relieving regulators, regulators without a gauge, and ISO G threads.
