Located on the discharge elbow or suction head inlet, primarily on C-Series Cyclonaire equipment. In load mode, the flap seals against the discharge elbow to create a vacuum in the Cyclonaire vessel. In discharge mode, the flap is used in conjunction with the ''T'' handle to act as a material flow rate adjustor into the convey line. The flap located in the suction head is used as a check valve to prevent back flow of material or air pressure into the vacuum line.
