The high-performance Mainliner services the fore and aft sandboxes of up to four locomotives on one track and four locomotives on a parallel track simultaneously. A Cyclonaire DPG-B Dense Phase pneumatic conveyor delivers traction sand from the bulk silo to any of the sanding stations on the platform. Locomotives only need to stop once.
