Cyclonaire air injectors help control slug length and support smoother dense phase conveying. Designed for high-pressure conveying applications, air injectors introduce controlled air into the convey line to improve material movement, reduce line pressure, and support consistent flow through the system.
By improving flow control, air injectors can help reduce material velocity, minimize degradation of friable or fragile products, and limit abrasive wear within the convey line. They are especially well suited for slug conveying of non-porous materials and applications where controlled movement is critical to system performance.
Cyclonaire’s air injector design operates at pressures up to 100 PSIG and includes a metered air adjustment system for precise flow control. A built-in automatic check valve helps prevent backflow into the control air supply, while the injector assists with restarting dense phase flow after shutdown without requiring convey line cleanout.
